All Casas do Gajo have satellite wifi. There is no cell phone signal, except at specific spots on the property.
The Alce Negro Chalet is ideal for those seeking silence to work or create, such as writers and artists, as well as couples and small families who want a few days of rest and contact with nature in a welcoming and integrated environment, typical of mountain homes. Guests of Alce Negro also have access to the property's common areas, including the flowing spring water lake ideal for swimming, the orchard, the organic vegetable garden, the wood-fired oven, the hammock area, and the trails that cross the property. This way, your stay brings together the best of both worlds: the privacy of an independent chalet with the opportunity to experience the atmosphere of a small rural village surrounded by nature.

The Casas do Gajo are located in the Serra do Mar, 30 km from Ubatuba and 15 km from São Luiz do Paraitinga. Access is via kilometer 57 of the Oswaldo Cruz Highway, followed by about 5 km of dirt road, in an area full of trails and waterfalls. The property covers 11 alqueires, keeping a large part of the native forest untouched. If you are traveling with your pet, the kennel has a high and comfortable bathtub, made so your pet returns home clean after enjoying the countryside.
