The Yellow House - Country Villa

The Yellow House is one of three houses in the rural village Casas do Gajo, located in the Serra do Mar and surrounded by the Atlantic Forest. Perfect for those looking to relax and enjoy nature, this house offers two suites, an extra bedroom, and a guest bathroom, providing comfort and privacy for families or small groups. Windows and the backyard connect you with lush greenery. The village features trails, a flowing-water pool, orchard, vegetable garden, and sports court.
All Gajo Houses have satellite wifi. In some areas of the property, guests can get Claro and Vivo signal. For the safety of the environment and the community, it is forbidden to light fires on the property, cut trees, or use chemicals in the natural pool. Feel free to enjoy our fruits and vegetables on site, but harvesting and taking them with you at checkout is not allowed. Our next guests will also appreciate the chance to pick and enjoy the fruits and vegetables.
The Yellow House comfortably accommodates up to 7 people, making it ideal for families or small groups looking for a few days of rest and reconnection with nature. The property features a fenced and private backyard, providing more safety and freedom for children and pets, as well as a pleasant space to relax, read, or simply enjoy the surrounding nature. Despite the privacy, guests of the Yellow House can also access the village's shared areas, such as the spring-fed lake, the orchard, the vegetable garden, the soccer field, and the trails that cross the property. This way, you can enjoy the best of both worlds: the comfort of a house exclusively for your group and the experience of being integrated into a small rural village surrounded by nature.
Casas do Gajo are located in Serra do Mar, 30 km from Ubatuba and 15 km from São Luiz do Paraitinga. Access is via kilometer 57 of the Oswaldo Cruz Highway, followed by about 5 km of dirt road, in a region full of trails and waterfalls. The rural village is next to preserved areas of the Atlantic Forest and spans 11 alqueires, maintaining most of the native forest intact. Internal trails cross the property, offering privileged views of the Serra do Mar, ideal for peaceful walks surrounded by nature. The location also features a soccer field, orchard, vegetable garden, and a pond with fresh spring water, perfect for cooling off on hot days. If you are traveling with your pet, the kennel has a high, comfortable bathtub designed so your pet can return home clean after enjoying the countryside.
